The beds and sofas are all very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped and a joy to use. Although on a main road which is, conveniently, close to the town centre, double glazing ensures the house is peaceful and quiet and the lovely garden leading down to the river is delightful. The house is close to a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and there is a supermarket within a couple of minutes walk.

The house is lovely: warm, welcoming, spotlessly clean. The location meant that we had everything right on the doorstep, including fishing from the jetty, but it was easy to head out to explore the new forest and coast. The new forest walks app was a convenient way to find interesting strolls and hikes. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, and food at the local pubs. We particularly liked the Cartwheel Inn just outside Fordingbridge, and when out and about, Lovitaly at Ringwood and Cliffhanger at Highcliffe. John was easy to contact if we had any questions and Hayley and Michaela did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We would highly recommend this beautiful property for a New Forest holiday.

We loved sitting there. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed was very comfy and shower/bath superb. The massive TV in games room was a great place when it rained. Thoughtful touches like dishwasher tabs and laundry tabs, bits and bobs in cupboard were all appreciated. The location us perfect for access to all New Forest and beyond. The parking clock was for use in all New Forest car parks which was amazing. Plus free parking in adjacent shop car park! We would thoroughly recommend this house.
