Kick back on the comfy sofas and armchairs in the lounge area playing games and watching the Smart TV, cook up tasty meals in the well-equipped kitchen and share them in the dining area. Get a great night’s rest in the two attractive bedrooms, a king-size room, and a flexible twin or king-size, and enjoy the gorgeous shower room with a large walk-in shower. Soak up the sun in the private, enclosed courtyard, and take Fido for a run in the exercising field opposite. Potter in the woodlands and chill by the pond in the shared grounds, you can also sit in the shared gazebo with a drink. After muddy walks, wash the pups’ paws and your boots in the outside hot water shower and sink.

Head to Bishops Tawton and walk up Codden Hill (4.5 miles away) where you’ll get amazing views of both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. Visit nearby Exmoor (9 miles) to spot the roaming wild ponies who live on the moors and explore the landscape. Visit Barnstaple (5 miles), home to a range of shops, pubs, cafes, and restaurants, and Instow’s canine-friendly estuary beach (8 miles) and where you can catch the ferry to Appledore in the summer.
