After finding roadside parking, access is from the road through a side door leading to paths to the front of the cottage. The sitting room offers a real traditional feel with exposed beams, two armchairs and an electric woodburning stove, ideal for those colder months. The kitchen features a range of appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer, so you are fully equipped to prepare home-cooked meals. Wash away the day in the bathroom, complete with bath and hand-held shower, before relaxing in the sumptuous double bedroom. To the exterior of this quaint abode is a delightful patio, complete with a bench and chiminea, perfect for those balmy evenings as you chat away into the night. The town's greatest attraction is Kenilworth Castle, a massive mediaeval fortification that survived a legendary assault and eventually became an Elizabethan palace over 900 years ago. As you gaze at the towering keep, climb the towers to see the spectacular vistas, and imagine the majesty of the Great Hall, you will be immersed in aeons of history. The Norman and Gothic ruins of the Abbey, as well as the magnificent Abbey Fields, are located in the picturesque Finham Brook valley, with views of Kenilworth Castle. Warwick, a historic town close by, has many lovely parks, gardens, cafés, restaurants, antiques, shops, a racecourse, and hosts several festivals throughout the year.
