Lynsted Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and convenient location close to amenities and walks. The secure garden is a hit with dog owners, and the property's quietness is consistently appreciated. The hosts, John and Karen, are commended for their thoughtfulness and welcoming touches.
Reviews frequently highlight the spotless condition of the bungalow, indicating meticulous attention to cleanliness. The property's tidiness contributes positively to guests' experiences, with only one negative comment about the bathroom, which seems to be an outlier.
The property's location is celebrated for its proximity to the town centre, local amenities, and national park walks. Its position in a quiet area while still being accessible is a key advantage mentioned by several reviewers.
Guests find the bungalow comfortable, with particular praise for the spaciousness and the quality of the beds. The conservatory is a favoured spot for relaxation. A few comments about a hard bed and a high step into the garden suggest minor comfort concerns for some.
The bungalow is well-equipped, with a secure garden and modern facilities. Some guests mention the lack of a shaver socket and a small TV, but overall, the facilities meet the needs of most visitors. The maintenance of the property is generally good, though a couple of reviews suggest room for improvement.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through welcoming gestures like wine and milk, though such gifts are not guaranteed. Dog-friendly amenities, including toys and bowls, are provided, enhancing the stay for pet owners. The personal touches contribute to the property's warm and inviting atmosphere.

The property had everything we needed and Coco our little dog loved the garden. We visited Staunton Harrold and went on a walk round Willesley Woods which was every enjoyable. The town centre is within walking distance, which was a bonus. Loved the many shops and the little indoor market. Had a Chinese too which we thoroughly enjoyed. Visited Barkers coffee lounge a couple of times, which is totally dog friendly. Local park also within walking distance and watched the cricket one afternoon. Wouldnât hesitate to come back to this property. Many thanks John and Karen

The garden is quite large and private and the conservatory is perfect for quiet evenings. There are lots of things to see and do in the area and the town is really good. We will certainly be back here as soon as we can. John and Karen are so helpful and friendly.

Very clean, well furnished/equipped and comfortable. Pleasant quiet location but the town centre reached in a few minutes stroll. Lovely base for the week. Would return.
