Sitting in a tranquil residential area the property is within a brisk 20-minute walk of Brewers Quay and the pretty Old Harbour in Weymouth with its choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs giving an alfresco feel to the area.
A few minutes’ walk away from the property away is the secluded Sandsfoot beach favoured by locals. Sandsfoot Castle and gardens with its beautiful views to the horizon where you can see Portland harbour. You can enjoy sumptuous Dorset’s ice cream from the little kiosk whilst appreciating the views.
The Rodwell trail follows the old railway line from Weymouth to Portland and Chesil Beach and is popular for a gentle stroll or cycle for tourists and locals alike. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and no negatives to report. Owners of wider vehicles should be aware that they might need to use street parking around the corner, as did I, 70 meters away where there are plenty of spaces on a much wider road.

.bed linen of a lovely high quality. The kitchen had all you need and the property was welcoming and conducive to a relaxing holiday. There was no problem parking.
