Lowbrook Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, peaceful and quiet location, and the comfort it offers. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the thoughtful touches by the owner. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many guests planning to return.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotlessly clean' and 'tidy'. One review noted cobwebs, but this seems an isolated comment amidst overall excellent feedback.
The location is consistently described as peaceful and quiet, ideal for a relaxing holiday. It is also deemed well-situated for exploring East Anglia. However, some guests noted the need to drive to reach amenities, slightly impacting the score.
Comfort is well-regarded, with the cottage described as cosy and the beds as comfortable, although there are mixed comments about bed sizes and mattress quality. The presence of a high bed and inferior single mattresses in one review slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally praised as well-equipped and in good working order. However, some guests mentioned issues with the shower, the height of the beds, and the lack of certain amenities like full-length mirrors and indoor towel rails, which suggests room for improvement.
While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as a welcome loaf and jam, as these gifts are not consistently referenced across the reviews, it is not possible to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

This is our 4th year coming to the cottage and it's just as great as the first time. Peaceful, quiet surroundings and lots of places to go to that are a drive away. Chris, as always, is a fantastic host, making sure everything is just right for staying there. Now to check out next year's term dates so we can book up again.
