The cottage boasts a lovely outdoor space and is dog-friendly, making it ideal for country and coastal walks.
Most guests found the cottage to be very clean and tidy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few guests mentioned issues with cleanliness, such as dirty work surfaces and cobwebs, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to local attractions, beaches, and walks. The village's charm and the local pub's proximity are frequently mentioned as highlights.
Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. Some discomfort was noted due to the garden furniture and sofas, and the ground floor bathroom's location was not ideal for all.
The facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and good space. However, several reviews cited issues with the hob and oven being inefficient, and parking difficulties, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
There is insufficient information to score thoughtfulness as there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, this score is set to null.

This is an excellent location to explore from either by car or by foot as there are a number of great scenic walks from the village itself. The village pub is very welcoming and overall for me a week was not enough.

We've stayed in lots of other cottages where we've had a welcome hamper and flowers, but in Blueberry Cottage, the one dishwasher tablet left strategically on the worktop sort of says it all really,.

A small walk from the cottage takes you to the village pub. And the duck pond. There are many walks in the area that are suitable for dog walkers. Supermarkets within a 15 minute drive. And lots of local attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
