As we were only staying for two nights and spending our time exploring the area we treated ourselves to a fish and chip supper from Stillington Fisheries and takeaway curry from the Gulshan Tandoori, which were both only a short walk away and definitely worth a try. Stillington itself is lovely and picturesque and great if you have dogs thanks to the surrounding fields. Also ideally situated for trips to York.
